We acquired this piece not through an ivestigation but from a person who deals in the exchanges of very powerful, magical items. So, unfortuately there is no juicy backstory that we can tell from our vantage point. We simply put an offer in on the piece and won. However, the history of this piece is enough to make anybody want to buy it. It was first created in the year 1911 around the time of the Coronation of of King George V. He was the King from 1910 (the notes on the card are wrong) until he died in 1936.
While he won't be remembered in the history books as anyone of distinct importance, he was a British Monarch.
