We have this piece as a result of an investigation that we went on a few years back. We have been careful to make sure that we fully understand what exactly this piece has the capability of doing before we offer it to the general public. We have been working with it ever since. I know it seems like we've taken a long time with this piece, but it takes some time for the magic in this piece to show up to the person who is using it. I want you each to remember that when using this piece. This is not the type of magic that is going to work the day after you get the piece. This is the kind of magic that you are going to have to stew in for a while and that is simply due to how powerful the magic actually is. One might think that this piece has something to do with religions, but it doesn't. In fact, the only thing that it has in common with Christianity is that it holds the powers of necromancy and the ability to raise the dead, similar to the power it took Jesus to raise Lazarus from the dead. That is where the name of the club comes from and that is where it stops.
Who are the members of the Lazarus Club? They aren't the kind of people that you might think they are. Given the powers and abilities that they have, you might think that they are the upper-crust and the elite. You might think they are members of the Illuminati or some other New World Order trying to solidify their place among the magical elite. However, this notion would be wrong. The Lazarus Club is people just like you and just like me. Some of them are historians who have done the research and have realized that there is something more. Some of them are religious teachers that have seen the truth written in ancient texts. Some of them are comic book nerds who knew that there was more to life than frames in a comic book. You see, the Lazarus club is not about becoming the elite. The Lazarus Club is about gaining power and magic for personal use.
I will admit that the magic that is used by the club, which numbers 47 people has come from sacred texts in the Bible. Remember, I said this piece uses the same necromancy that Jesus used to raise Lazarus. In modern versions of the Bible Jesus is simply recorded as saying "Lazarus, come out!" However, in the ancient Hebrew context, there is much more than that said. It is the ancient Hebrew context that provides the Lazarus Club with its ability to raise people from the dead. These ancient words can be deciphered as having metaphysical and alchemical properties and the ability to instill the lifeforce into an inanimate corpse that they choose. They have managed to conjure and raise from the dead some pretty huge names, too. As far as the actual identity of the Lazarus Club. I wish I tell you. They happen to have a hacker in their midst who is pretty good at keeping their stuff locked down. Like the group Anonymous, they only meet in discreet places and when they do it is only for a few hours, long enough to conjure their pick of the litter from the dead and then send them back.

The historian was assigned to a project in Egypt concerning the secret Library of Alexandria. The historian came across some ancient texts that allowed her to receive the enlightenment of the gods, specifically the God of Resurrection, Osiris. Osiris is the one that guided her to the secret texts of the Hebrew Bible so she could learn how to raise the dead properly. I'm not sure the significance of the Egyptian gods referencing the Holy Bible, but it tells me that everything is intertwined in some sort of magic web in some way sort of fashion. So, when she was led by Orisirs to the magic that was in the Bible, she was able to use this magic to raise the dead. The first person that she raised from the Dead was Napoleon Bonaparte so she could chat with him about the time he stayed in the pyramid and came out unable to speak. He imparted upon her a gift of Egyptian magic that she will not share with others. She only refers to this magic as the foundation of life and all that we know. These people are so cryptic!!
Look, long story short, the historian lady ended up using the magic that was shown togher by Osiris to establish a club. This club is Called the Lazarus Club. Although they are super secretive Deedee sought out one of the members who were able to lobby for her to be able to attend one of the meetings. She went to the meeting and during the meeting they raising some Russian guy from the dead to gain his knowledge of thermal wave resonance so they could use the heat from the Sun to open up some sort of celestial door. That's not the important part. That's impressive, but it's not the important part. The important part is this piece that is called the Dark Star. It is called the Dark Star because it holds necromancy that will guide people from death into resurrection, as recorded in the Bible and used by Jesus and his disciples. During the meeting, Deedee was able to locate one of the Dark Star pieces and she brought it back with her. We have been testing this piece every since.
